I would just like to say that I am highly excited about the upcoming London Fashion week, It’s my favourite season! I absolutely cannot wait to see all the knitwear and there’s already been some very cool knits from the Mens AW09 which I will post about soon.
So … onto the Tough… She’s been around for a little while now, graduating back in 2004 from ..you guessed it… central saint martins. She left CSM with a distinction on the Masters course and quickly had her collection snapped up by Browns. She is now stocked in Liberty as well.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw her Spring Summer 09 collection, the pieces are oh so beautiful. The inspiration came from vintage lingerie she found in Italy and bands of English and French lace trim negligee. I love the photo shoot for the collection, it suits the pieces perfectly. The deep pink fringe dress (my favourite) is so delicately pretty and it’s so wearable! This time round Tough has not limited herself to knits (I hope this isn’t her way of phasing them out).S he has included separates, blouses, sheet fabrics and tailoring.

Hi Jen, thanks for your comment on mine and for adding me, I’ve added you as well (thought I already had, actually!).
I’ve got a post coming up in your honour later this evening!

I love knitwear and I love your blog. It makes me feel so guilty about the knitting needles and bags of yarn sitting in the closet!
Thought you might be interested in the Knitwear Symphony event at Hong Kong fashion week, I featured some of my favourites here:

I am loving all the fringe and tassle! at first glance, reminded me of shaile’s collection but obviously a must softer version
oh, she has kind of changed her style with the use of colour, i’m pleasantly surprised!
are you going to be working in london fashion week too? I will be helping out at a stall for Ada Zanditon in the esthetica part! if you are there, we should definitely meet and greet!
