End of New York Fashion Week…start of London Fashion Week! Which I’m more excited about because..well…it’s London and London is THE best. But anyways, I’m in love with these striped tops from the Alexander Wang collection as shown at New York. The knits remind me of those by Nottingham Trent graduates Naomi Barber- Rodgers (http://knitkicks.wordpress.com/2009/06/25/naomi-barber-rodgers/) and Francesca Samm(http://knitkicks.wordpress.com/2009/06/15/francesca-samm/). The collection was inspired by American Heritage. Click thumbnails to zoom closer…

I wish my hair looked like that when pleated!!! Great images!
BTW…
We are a new indie Scottish fashion magazine. We have added you to our blog roll. Any chance you could do the same for us?

thanks for the detail shots on the a. wang tops. the see-through, meshy stripes are really interesting. i wonder if the same look could be achieved in handknitting with fishing line or some other transparent fiber.
