1 year Placement at Swatch studio, Acorn, based in Nottingham. I knitted swatches for the year,specialising in the domestic machine and crochet. I was in the final 10 shortlisted for the Maxmara competition this year. I was nominated for Visionary Knit and Textiles award at GFW this year.

Ria Thomas graduate collection

As promised, here is my bit on Ria Thomas. Ria (23) graduated from the Fashion Knitwear Design and Knitted Textiles course at Nottingham Trent University this year after scooping up the Pringle Visionary Knitwear award at Graduate Fashion Week 2008.
